DCYPAA (Desert Cities Young People in Alcoholics Anonymous) is a service committee that seeks to carry the message of Alcoholics Anonymous to the young and young at heart. We serve the Coachella Valley and Surrounding Desert Areas by creating and supporting young people's meetings where needed. Our members are dedicated to Twelfth Step Work, Hospital & Institution Work, Public Information, General Service, AA Conventions, and many other facets of AA Service.

By getting involved in AA services and practicing its principles in our daily lives, we show that sobriety can be comfortable and long-lasting. We host various sober functions in the hope that newcomers will find a new way of life through meeting other young alcoholics, hearing the message of recovery, and realizing that sobriety can be fun!
